Beautiful Lebanon Valley, Pennsylvania, was host to the 12th annual Horse Progress Days featuring horse- and mule-drawn manure spreaders, plows, tillage tools, planting and produce equipment, field sprayers, and haying implements in action behind a wide array of breeds and team configurations. This video, narrated by Rural Heritage columnist Sam Moore, shows it all. Additional features include the logging equipment demonstration announced by Rural Heritage contributor Brandt Ainsworth, commentary on the European outlook offered by British horse-farming equipment manufacturer Charlie Pinney and German draft-horse magazine publisher Erhard Schroll, and a demonstration by Barbara Corson of the style of harness used in Norway. Rounding out the event’s abundant activities is an impressive parade of draft breeds. DVD 2 hours
